What we are doing to protect our team members?
- TridentCare has established protocols for combatting the spread of viruses such as Influenza and coronavirus
- All TridentCare employees are trained on the protocols, and all TridentCare vehicles contain basic personal protection equipment (PPE)
TridentCare Safety Measures
- TridentCare’ s Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Standards are designed to keep our employees and our patients SAFE.
- TridentCare’ s frontline workers follow all applicable CDC, Federal and State guidelines and regulations.
- TridentCare’ s frontline workers don required PPE.
- TridentCare’ s frontline workers are tested for COVID-19 in accordance with applicable CMS, State and Local requirements.
- TridentCare has Implemented a Mobile App to assist with the self-monitoring process, and It also allows frontline workers to easily present their COVID-19 test results.

What can we do together to help prevent the spread of the virus?
- If you suspect that one or more of your patients Is Infected with the coronavirus, even If there has not yet been confirmation, please take care to Immediately notify any of our employees that may be performing services at your facility so that he or she may take the necessary precautions.
- TridentCare currently supplies, or makes available, PPE Including gloves, glasses, masks, gowns and disinfectant wipes/spray for equipment and personal use. TridentCare Is also Increasing Its Inventory of PPE In the event It needs to be distributed at elevated levels, TridentCare Is providing the same level of PPE recommended by the CDC.
- According to the CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/caring-for-patients.html), strict use of gloves, eye protection, alcohol based cleaning solutions as well as warm soap and water to clean both equipment and yourself are the recommended precautions.

CMS mandates for patient and employee testing and the turnaround time required:
Facilities, like skilled nursing and long-term care, are to utilize a testing resource that provides results within 48 hours. If the 48 hour turnaround time Is not available, a letter from the testing provider needs to be on file within the facility to avoid fines or penalties. Turnaround time is defined as the usual number of days from the date of pickup of a specimen for testing to when the result fs released to the ordering provider. In some cases, additional time should be allowed for additional confirmatory or additional reflex tests. Testing schedules may vary.
